Coverage schedule

All times Hong Kong, Friday night into Saturday morning. Windows are built around when Prudential's participants passed each point in 2025, so the cameras are in place before your team arrives. Numbers match the map.

What will be captured

The five chapters of the film, in the order the night unfolds.

  1. The start

    Mui Wo · 19:30–22:40

Your team together before the race: kit, nerves, the group moment, short soundbites on why they're running, and both Prudential waves crossing the start line under floodlights.

  2. The night trail

    Shap Long, CP1, CP2 · 23:10–02:30

Headlamp lines on the coast and down Nam Shan, checkpoint arrivals, the quiet work of the middle of the night. Both cameras at CP1 and CP2 as Prudential participants move through.

  3. Ngong Ping and the climb

    CP3 · 03:00–04:45

The field passing through Ngong Ping before the final ascent, while B Cam is already on the way up to the summit.

  4. The summit at sunrise

    Lantau Peak and CP4 · 04:00–08:05

B Cam on Lantau Peak from the dark hours through first light and sunrise at 06:27, when most of your returning participants pass the top. Below, the field comes down off the Peak into daylight at Pak Kung Au, with a drone view of the Peak as the sun clears it.

  5. The finish

    Pui O Beach · 07:20–09:45

The finish line is covered continuously from 07:20 to 09:45, with B Cam joining Director/A Cam from 08:25. In 2025 the majority of Prudential's team finished between 07:15 and 09:30, and the last came in at 09:37, so that window is where the cameras are positioned: the last steps onto the sand, medals, reactions, and the team gathering as the final participants arrive. Faster finishers who arrive before 07:20 are captured earlier at the summit and on the route rather than at the line.

Notes

  • Coverage windows are modelled on Prudential's 2025 checkpoint timings and this year's start times. If your team's plans change, we adjust the positions.
  • This is a night mountain trail with a large field. We position the cameras where your participants are most likely to pass, and we'll capture the great majority of them, but no single participant can be guaranteed at every point.
  • Drone flying at the start and at Pak Kung Au is subject to weather and event conditions.
  • Footage is licensed for Prudential's internal, corporate and social use. Broadcast or paid-media use can be arranged.
