Ben Ge Pengjiu

Born and raised in mainland China, Pengjiu trained as a graphic designer before receiving further education in London, UK. He holds a Masters degree in Filmmaking from Goldsmiths, University of London and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and English. Pengjiu has always had a passion for filmmaking and photography, and currently works as a professional cinematographer in Shanghai.

Pengjiu has directed photography on many independent short films and music videos and received numerous awards and nominations in festivals during his time in London. Since his return to China, Pengjiu has worked primarily as a cinematographer for commercial and television projects, including work for Intel, General Motors, and OnStar. Most recently, he was the camera operator for Daedalum Films' upcoming short film, Hukou.

Pengjiu specializes in camera operating (film/HD/SD format), lighting, and steadicam operation. He is an experienced user of Adobe Premiere Pro.
