Based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft

Paul Bianchi is a bank employee sent to Shanghai to claim on a defaulted loan from a recently deceased client. A frustrating business trip rapidly turns into a nightmare as he realizes the asset he came to claim is worth much more than any sum of money to certain people. As Paul slowly uncovers the mystery revolving around the object, he gets caught up in a spiral involving the ancient superstitions of a long-forgotten cult that will put not only his courage but his very sanity to the test.
