Chen Yanyu

Yanyu is originally from China’s southwestern paradise near Guilin, Guangxi Province. After graduating from the Guilin University of Information Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, she spent three years studying in France, earning a Master’s in Management from L’Université de Nantes and an MBA from L’Insitut Supérieur de Marketing du Luxe. In addition to native Mandarin Chinese, she speaks fluent French and English.

Yanyu is now back in China, based in Shanghai and working as a producer and production coordinator on a wide variety of video projects. Recent projects include a series of videos for Alibaba, Education USA videos for the United States Embassy, a stop-motion animation for the 19th “Fête de la francophonie en Chine” for the French Embassy, a television commercial for Haier, and the documentary “Beijing Calling” for France 4. She has also produced work for numerous embassies, including Greece, Canada, Romania, the Gabonese Republic, and brands including Citroen, ExxonMobil, L’Oréal, Chanel, Pro Chile, Jones Lang LaSalle, Porsche, and United Family Hospital, among others.
