Ben Ge

Born and raised in mainland China, Ben trained as a graphic designer before receiving further education in London, UK. He holds a Masters degree in Filmmaking from Goldsmiths, University of London and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and English. Ben has always had a passion for filmmaking and photography, and currently works as a professional cinematographer in Shanghai.

Ben has directed photography on many independent short films and music videos and received numerous awards and nominations in festivals during his time in London. Since his return to China, Ben has worked primarily as a cinematographer for commercial and television projects, including work for Alibaba, Intel, General Motors, OnStar, Shanghai Tang, Dunhill, and Ford. He was the camera operator for Daedalum Films' short film, Hukou.

Ben specializes in camera operating (film/HD/SD format), lighting, and steadicam operation. He is an experienced user of Adobe Premiere Pro.
