Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Mark is a veteran of film and television production in Los Angeles. He recently re-settled there after a year in Shanghai on the metaphorical front lines with Daedalum Films, and during which time he also mastered over a dozen words and phrases in Mandarin Chinese.

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, Mark worked on such films as Madagascar, Wallace and Gromit: COTW, Bee Movie, and Shrek the Third. During his time in Shanghai he co-wrote and co-produced the documentary short Human Flesh Search Engine and Assistant Directed the upcoming short film, Hukou. Most recently, Mark has turned his focus to writing for the screen, scripting CARGO, an international thriller set in the hidden underworld of global trade, from a story by Mark and Luis A. Tapia.
